The University of Florida's FYI Online newsletter is produced by the UF Office of Research and is published biweekly to keep the UF community informed of Office of Research activities, research news at UF, and opportunities for funding. This office has attempted to capture funding sources for all areas of the UF mission, so explore this resource to see what is available.
The UC-Davis database is an excellent list of funding sources. Explore this resource, as well, to locate sources of funding that support all three of the land-grant mission imperatives: Extension/outreach, research, and teaching.
If you are aware of other international funding resource databases besides these two, please contact the UF/IFAS International Programs (IP) office so we can add them to our list. These funding resources help our faculty and students carry out education, research, and Extension/outreach missions in the global arena. Outside funding sources are particularly important in an era of steadily shrinking state and even federal funding.
