Internships

A variety of international internships are available for UF/IFAS students to work abroad and for international students to work at UF/IFAS. International internships provide a learning experience for highly skilled international students, who bring with them talents and backgrounds that are useful to their UF/IFAS sponsors. In addition, interns maintain contact with the host faculty, providing valuable international contacts for UF/IFAS faculty. UF/IFAS students can gather valuable international experience working abroad. 

• UF/IFAS offers summer internships in research and extension.
• Internships, both paid and unpaid, can also be arranged on an ad hoc basis directly in the IFAS office of International Programs. Contact the office director, Dr. David Sammons, at sammons@ufl.edu to discuss the opportunities that exist.
